Some of the trees here in the rainforest appear to be camouflaged. We have never seen anything like it, so we decided to share it with you.

Believe it or not, but these plant-looking things are actually insects. They have adapted a way to fit into their surroundings, and often go unnoticed by other predators. We blew on them and the moved up the stem, one by one! They are called “putih putih” which means “white white.”

This is a picture of us connecting with you guys for TeachLive. Jamie answers the questions before handing the phone to Tyler, and eventually your favorite bat lady, Tigga.

This is a picture of a centipede, which was at least 7- 8 inches long. We didn't want to get too close to it because they can be potentially dangerous if they bite you.

This is our satellite phone which we use to talk to you all, and to call our loving parents. It can only be used outside and the big antenna must point up to the sky, connecting our signal with satellites.

We leave our shoes outside the front door because it is an important part of the Malaysian culture. It also helps us keep the place clean which is a good thing for whomever has sweeping duty for the day.
