The other day, Lance, one of the Earthwatch volunteers, had his birthday. We all signed the card and gave him our best wishes. The two community fellows, Hannah and Ainur translated the printed Malay text to him.

Dr. Tigga Kingston decorated the faces on Lances ballons to look like the bats we have been finding in the harp traps every night and day.

Rakhmad, one of the two workers who help Tigga out by leading teams of volunteers, enjoys himself as he and Jamie get into a cake smearing competition.

Tyler films as Jamie and Arsen sit down to ask Tigga some key questions about the bat conservation she is involved with here in Malaysia. This footage will be featured in Tyler's web video about the project.
