This is a picture of one of our community fellows Ainur. Jamie has written a profile of her for the daily log on April 20th.

Rakhmad extends the wing of this very large bat which goes by the scientific name of Hipposideros diadema.

Mamma smiles for the camera with her baby attached in the lower left corner. The baby must be less then a few weeks old because bats mature to adults very fast. This bat in scientific terms is called Cynopterus brachyotis.

As Jamie mentioned in her log, another grueling task that we do is measuring and counting the amount of trees which are over a certain height. By measuring the trunks of the trees we can put the trees into different classes by recording how wide they are. Just by looking at this picture you can tell just how hard it would be to count each tree in this dense forest.
